A light enters my body
From the very tip of my toes
and begins to spread
It begins to radiate
It’s brilliance… it’s love… it’s ecstasy
It permeates every cell of my body
It traverses on a journey
To the very core of my soul
It traverses the path
With only one goal in mind…
To illuminate the heart
It travels with the grace of a thousand graces
And uplifts with the
Power that invigorates
as it glides up to the very essence of my being
it swirls and twirls
oh how elegant and beautiful it is!
how sweet is this love! how sweet is this light!
that emanates when I CRUSH my desire
to please my LORD
and I give Him from my Prime Time
not my free time
As it reaches my heart it envelopes it
Protects it
Oh how beautiful!
I never want it to go away
I wish this Light can
Dwell in my heart forever...
To it I plead:
Don’t ever go away
Till my last breath
Guide me in my dark lonely abode after death
Protect me there
Guide me to the Fount of Kawthar
to drink from the hands of my Beloved
Guide me across the Pulsiraat
To Jannah
