on March 17, 2005 9:10 AMThanks. I feel grateful to all women who wear veils. I think no other type of women are humans at all. But about beard, I have an objection. Why do we put so much importance about which Allah (SWT) has not said a SINGLE word in the Quran??? If I give a nafl ibadah a priority over a farj ibadah, will it not be a violation of the rules of Allah? Islam has fallen into the pit of ruin only because we Muslims have forgotten the Law of Priority. We have learnt to forget or hide the truth under the veil of outward formalities that are not very important for religious purposes as much as for health and social purposes. Just look at today's Saudi Arabia. Look at the so called Muslims who hanker after money, money , and money. They are happy only if they are given bountry. But a true Muslim does not care about Allah's bounty. Not even about Allah's Rahhmat. He knows that Allah never does injustice. What he is concerned about is whether he is doing his duty. And keeping beard is not any main duty of a Muslim. Never. I myself feel sorry that my own wife doesn't put on hijaab. I cry to Allah. I feel so glad when I see a veiled woman. I feel honour for her. But still I have never felt anything for a bearded man only because he has beard. Even a goat may have beard. So what? If there is no Islam inside, no beard can be a signboard. That we all will knnow just at the moment of death. Most Muslim preachers only guess and analyze. Very few actually feel the religion. For many Islam has become a fashion. Will somebody please get me a wife with hijaab??
