Except those who repent and believe, and work righteousness: for these will enter the Garden and will not be wronged in the least. (Surat Marium, 60)

The days were more like years
More experiences gone by
His eyes began to harden
His soul began to feel
The longing it left behind

So he began to work back hard
For that innocence he had almost lost
He wanted to feel what it was like again
To have that purity of thought

He desired the Taqwa and the faith
To survive the bullies and abuse
And the mockery and rebuke
Without a scratch from his esteem removed

He remembered that child who was invincible then
For Allah was back then his guardian

He sought the power of Eman
He felt in that boy so long ago
That was sitting deep inside him
And so...

He cried.
