Inside your heart screams
Scream again
Scream and let your soul scream with agony for one’s heart and mind causes so much distress
Scream
Like jumping hopscotch through 3 Palestinian landmines
Like hugging a single mother who goes through torment all the time
Like red envelopes leaving hefty fines
Like my unmemorized freestyle rhymes,
Like 5 daily prayer times
Where I need to remember to reach Junnah in due time
But its that division and separation
That keeps Muslims with starvation with no ration
Where the ummah is kept Quiet
Like halal food dreams at KFC but you just cant buy It
It’s the words I say
Like differences put between us yet we’re all made of clay
Its one blood clot, its that one religious spot
That you got. That You got. That You Got
To whimper, to tear, to beg,…to beg for your soul,
that warp of a time
Creates a blood rush to your head from your spine
that Love… that Attention
That need for direction
A Junnah mission, to make that tough decision
That internal promise…that you had
That time you made your mom cry
But you didn’t really care cuz you were mad
Its that essence
That repentance
That Junnah sentence
That slave of Allah license
that you HAVE!!!
That I have
So its you
To be unique
To be me
To drop conformity of an ethnicity
And just be me
Its that what drives me
Its that what takes me
Insha Allah
to
Junnah
