My Journey

I am surrounded by the murky waters of fitna
Held afloat by my boat of Imaan.
My oars are the most wonderful Sunnah
And the Most Glorious,Most Noble Qur’aan.
I row on,ever so alert and aware
While evil eyes peer at me and jeer
Awaiting some sort of negligence and despair
They try to instill in me uncertainty and fear
I shall not let them topple me
For then I would be eaten alive.
I trust in my Creator who guides me
To my target I will arrive.
This does not please those with the evil eyes
They cannot bear to see me at my destination
They try to mislead me in many a disguise
Hoping to lead me to my destruction.
Many a times I was tempted
But caught myself just in time
I will not allow myself to be distracted
I will complete this journey of mine
In my boat of Imaan, I row on protected
Held steady by my Qur’aan and Sunnah
I strive along the path that has been perfected
For at the end of it lies my goal : to enter Jannah.INSHALLAH!

If it wasn't for the mercy of Allah, subhanna wa taala, that boat would never stand a chance.

NIce to see Hidaya up and running again. Who knows maybe I'll post something, my experiences from my trip for Umrah :). That picture just brings back even more memories. Subhanallah.
