How easy it is
To raise our two hands towards the sky
and cry...
Unleashing all our frustrations,
our anxieties and lamentations
Bartering them lucratively with contentment of our hearts, serenity of our minds and luminescence of our hopes
How blessed is the knowledge and the confirmation
that there is Someone listening in at the other end
Folding all our hopes, our tears, our sighs and our whispers
And returning to us our trust, and an answer to our prayers
How blissful is His existence and that of His tokens
The Ultimate Hearer who cannot see us broken.
